CALL ME ON THE 27TH.

All this free agent stuff is hurting my ears. No one can even "offically" agree to terms until JULY 12. After that all restricted free agents have to wait 15 more days for their current teams to match the offer or let them go. So until then lets just here are my guesses at the big names:
MANU GINOBLI - stays with the SPURS; JAMAL CRAWFORD - ends up in N.Y. with that ass ISAIAH; KENYON MARTIN - will remain a NET because if they don't they are retarded; CARLOS BOOZER - goes to UTAH because in OHIO the world revolves around a teenager; Q RICHARDSON - plays along side NASH, STOUDEMIRE, & MARION because the CLIPPERS will hold out to land "convict #8"; the NUGGETS won't end up with anyone while they also hold hope of bringing in KOBE from the local courthouse. That leaves the big one, the one everyone wants, KOBE "just did it" BRYANT - he will be a LAKER all by himself without the "BIG FELLA" good luck trying to be the man.
There you have it, now don't bother me with maybes just relax and watch the chase as it unfolds.

WHO'S DOING THE DRINKING IN CLEVLAND ?

All I can really say is BOO - zer. If the CAVS let this guy go and think that KING JAMES was the sole reason for their turn around last season then BOO - zer. This guy has all the upside you could possible want. He could easily become a 20 and 10 average guy. Here's an idea, lets almost make the playoffs for the first time since MIKE kicked our asses and then the next season let one of our best guys go. Even your blind owner should be able to see that this is stupid. But hey let him walk go back to the lottery maybe there will be a KING ARTHUR next year. Oh yeah I almost forgot, big Z may be leaving town too. BOO - zer.

PASS THE "BLOUNT"

The CELTICS may actually have "hit" pay dirt with this one. The only center that really contributed anything last year and the year before they traded him to DENVER then resigned him. DOC and DANNY made a good move here, we needed a big body and we needed to prove to MARK we are serious. So although signing him for that much over that long seems crazy it should work out for everyone. Everyone except CHRIS MIHM that is.

DAVID STERN is going to ask the PLAYERS UNION to expand the NBDL from 6 teams to possibly 15. This would be good for the LEAGUE. The NBDL should be used as a "farm league" for the bigs. Hockey has the AHL and the IHL, and baseball has AAA,AA,A to help develope their players so why shouldn't basketball. Teams would be able to draft players on potential and not let them just waste away on the bench with no playing time. Example : the DETROIT PISTONS used the #2 draft pick last year on DRAKO MILLIC(i hope that's spelt right) from somewhere overseas. He has prabably played under 60 minutes total of, not only American, but the greatest LEAGUE in the world. If DETROIT had a farm team he could have been developing his game before being thrown to the wolves and being expected to perform at a #2 draft pick level. There are tons of young draft picks that could have used that type of system. LEBRON JAMES is the exception to the rule. Hell K.G. , KOBE, T-MAC, JERMINE O'NEIL they all took at least three years to really contribute. Even players that spend time in college sometimes don't live up to their draft day potenial. So I'm behind this idea 100% it will make this LEAGUE so much better for the future.
